Introduction
I’ve traveled around Asia for the last few years, and it’s been an incredible experience. But I know that there are millions of people who haven’t yet been to the region. I want to share what I’ve learned so that more people can visit and enjoy these places.
When to go
The best times to visit are spring (March-May), summer (June-August) and fall (September-November). Winter is a little less popular with tourists as it’s quite cold in most of Asia.
If you plan on visiting during any of these seasons, make sure that your vaccinations are up to date!
What to see
The Great Wall of China is one of the seven wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s also very long (5,500 miles), so make sure to wear comfortable shoes! The Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors from 1420 until 1912, when they moved out because it was getting too crowded in there. The Terra Cotta Warriors are an army of 8 thousand life-sized statues made out of clay that were buried with Emperor Qin Shi Huang as part of his funeral complex in 210 BC. The Terracotta Army is located near Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province where you can find them if you dig deep enough into the ground! The Temple Of Heaven is located in Beijing but not related at all
Where to eat
The best way to find good food in Asia is by asking the locals. If you’re not sure what to ask, just say “Where can I get some good Asian food?” They’ll know exactly what you’re looking for and where it is!
One thing that’s really important when eating out in Asia is knowing where the best deals are at each city. For example: If there’s a place called “Great Food,” but they charge $5 per plate instead of $3 per plate like other places nearby…then maybe those other places aren’t so great after all? You’ll have to decide that for yourself when visiting different cities throughout Asia because everyone has different tastes when it comes down right down between which restaurants serve up delicious meals while still maintaining affordable prices versus those who don’t offer such value-oriented options but instead allow customers (like me) access only if they pay more money upfront before eating anything at all.”
Best value hotels in the cities I’ve been to
- Singapore
The cost: about $30 per night for a private room in an apartment with shared bathrooms, or about $60 per night for a private room with its own bathroom.
- What it was like: The rooms were small but clean and cozy, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. There was also a kitchenette where we could cook our own meals if we wanted to save money by eating out less often. The location of this hostel was perfect–it was right next door to several restaurants and shops so that we didn’t need to walk very far when going out in the evening or buying groceries during the day (I recommend trying out Kopi Tiam , which serves delicious Malaysian food). Although there weren’t any other travelers staying at my hostel while I was there, I did meet some people who were staying elsewhere in Singapore who said that they had stayed at The Beauty Of Asia before too!
What I learned from The Beauty Of Asia.
The Beauty of Asia is the people.
The Beauty of Asia is the food.
The Beauty of Asia is its culture and history, art, architecture and weather – all come together to make this continent a paradise on earth!
